IMPROVE YOUR AWARENESS TO HELP YOU STAY SAFE:

Predators who are looking to harm or snatch you are trying to find an easy mark: someone who’s not paying attention or is looking vulnerable. Use these tips to help keep you from being a target:
Carry Yourself Confidently
Show confident body language, keep your head up, and act like you’re focused
Walk tall and swing your arms so you don’t look like a “soft target.”
Be Aware of Your Surroundings
GET OUT OF YOUR PHONE and avoid wearing headphones, ear buds, or air pods.
Look around often, pay attention to your surroundings, and don’t get distracted.
Be careful getting in your car or coming into your home.
Make Eye Contact
If someone’s stalking or following you, make sure he knows you see him and that you got a good look at him; this should make him less likely to keep coming for you because it will be harder to take you by surprise.
