A big part of your Martial Arts training involves working on your mind, so make sure you’re in the proper frame of mind to keep up your best attitude. Here’s what happens when your attitude starts improving:
Come to Every Class – it should feel very weird to miss class, so make it a habit to be on time and come ready to train. Good habits are even harder to break than bad habits! Prioritize going to class you’ll make faster progress and bigger improvements!
Parents – help your student to dive into their Martial Arts training, encourage and reinforce proper behavior in class, and ask the instructors how you can help him or her to improve. Talk to your student about Martial Arts and refer to the program as “YOUR Class.”
Compete in Local Tournaments – working on facing o against other competitors pushes you to raise your skills to a higher level and helps you improve in all areas of your training!
Remember – your best cheerleader is YOU!
